Dark Day for Football : Indonesian Stadium Disaster

FIFA President Gianni Infantino says it 'Dark Day' for Soccer.

This stampede at the Kanjuruhan Statdium is one of the worst stadium disaster.

At least 125 people killed in stampede in a football match.

About 180 people are also hurt after the match stampede.

The incident took place when Arema FC's loss to rivals Persebaya Surabaya in East Java on Saturday.

The stampede occured when police fired tear gas on the fans who invaded the pitch.

FIFA president said  "The football world is in a sate of shock following the tragic incidents that have taken place in Indonesia."

"This is a dark day for all involved in football and a tragedy beyond comprehension". Gianni said.

"I extend my deepest condolences to the families and friends of the victims who lost their lives following this tragic incident." FIFA President said.
